Google's 5.5-inch Nexus 6P successor. You don't have to shop in the big-and-tall section of stores to want the Google Pixel XL. It's a powerful phablet, at a still-reasonable size, and it's made by Google. This 5.5-inch Android phone is the successor to last year's Nexus 6P, as Google is altogether ditching the affordable, developer-focused Nexus brand in favor of the Pixel XL and smaller 5-inch Pixel. You're getting top-of-the-line specs, but a noticeable price bump. It once again has a full-metal body and 2K resolution screen, but debuts a blazing-fast Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM inside. Google has unveiled the Pixel and Pixel XL phones. They are beautiful pieces of technology, but can they compete with the likes of Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy line of phones? That is yet to be seen. We are yet to get our hands on the phone, but if you preorder it now, it will come with a free Daydream View VR headset! That's like an $80 value. I have already preordered a black 128 GB Pixel XL and look forward to it shipping so that I can review it for you guys. Some of my favorite things about things about this phone so far are Google Assistant, the fast charging, the (apparently) best smartphone camera ever, and the free headset. The Pixel XL runs Android 7.1 Nougat with the new Google Assistant (voice activated) on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU with 4 gigs of RAM and 32 or 128 gigs of storage (no microSD card slot). The Pixel XL has a 2560 x 1440 AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 4 (the smaller Pixel is 1920 x 1080). It has an 8MP front camera and a 12.3MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens and 4K video recording.
